Willow Creek Online Conference
One of the churches is planning to use on online conference from Willow Creek for leader training - if you'd like to take a look, it's http://www.willowcreek.org.au/resources?sprod=488 ; they invite youth leaders from other local churches to join in. (Just an aside - the website is very smart, but somehow that flame across the top looks to me like a nose with a match inserted - anyone else?)

This conference is something that we, at Warragul Church of Christ, are keen to do at some point. We had hoped to do it this term but it is increasingly looking like term 1 2012. When we do sign up for the conference we have 12 weeks of unlimited viewing opportunities - this gives us a couple of options; 1 - leaders can view whatever sessions that interest them, whenever they want by themselves, or 2 - we organise an afternoon where leaders can get together, view some of the sessions together, have a discussion and some fellowship.

Wgl CoC will be happy to host and cost is likely to nil or negligible.
I'm certainly interested, and would encourage our volunteers to participate - I agree with you, I think getting together has definite benefits. Thank you for this invitation! - Katie
