Activity Idea: Hunt-the-Leader

[I found this pic. of a shopping mall at Dreamstime.com]

Leaders dress up and hide, around the town, or around a large shopping complex.  Teens are given clues to solve, to find the leaders.

Leaders can dress as different things, or according to a theme - one group made it 'Where's Wally'.
An advantage of playing in a shopping center is that you can be very clear about where is in and where is out of bounds.

  1. Hi, a Leader Hunt has become an annual event for us. Over the years we have run them with various themes - Where's Wally, Nerds, Pink Panther (where each of the leaders dressed in a different colour), Secret Message (where the beginning letter of each dress up character spelt our 'Jesus Saves' and just your general 'dress up in anything' nights. Where's Wally has still been the best. I think mainly as it was simple, fun, relevant to the topic and people who were shopping loved it also. One thing to remember is that you don't want to get anyone in trouble, kicked out or be an embarassment to your church. So you do need to dress sensitively!
